Studio DK is an exploration of form and feeling. We are two Cape Town-based artists who have forged a collective practice. Our collaborative work ties together conceptual strands through installation as a means of eliciting emotive engagement.

Klaré van Heerden (b.1999) visually represents the complexity of trauma through various mediums. She is a transdisciplinary artist with the concept as her priority - tapping into all mediums necessary.

Daniel Tucker’s (b.1998) work is of ecological concern - specifically the Anthropocene. His work curates found objects in combination with carved forms to create collections that hold a sense of loss.

Our work holds a corporeal implication that locates the viewer within the work.
